Snider, Beulah Madeline Price

Beulah Madeline Price Snider, age 88, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on January 17, 1927 to the late Simeon and Lucy Price. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, John (Toad) Snider; her sister, Della Miller and her brother, Lee Price.

Beulah was a lifelong member of New Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. She loved her family and her church family and became Granny to everyone she met.

She is survived by her sons, Rev. Larry Dale Snider and wife, Lynda, Gary Lee Snider; Grandchildren, Julia Campbell and fiancé, Sammy Phipps and children, Brittany and Madelyn, Christi King and husband, Wallace King and children, Ethan and Trysten; Debra Snider and finacé, Carl Openshaw and children, Justice and Kolton; sister, Louise Long and husband, Ira Long; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Jeanette Snider; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Bansemer officiating. Interment will follow in the New Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Friends may call anytime after 12:00 noon and the family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg.
