Snead, Betty Harriett Jewel

Betty Harriett Jewel Snead, 76, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She was born in Parrott, Va. on November 9, 1930 to the late Grayson Dallas and Eura Sifford Snead. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Smith of Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Carolyn Snead, Saford Snead, all of Christiansburg, Jesse Yearout of Beckley, W.Va.; special niece and nephew, Addison and Spencer Linkous; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in the McCoy Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Thursday before the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW., Blacksburg, Va.
