Smith, Vadie Shockley

Vadie Colleen Smith, age 78 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 in the Pulaski Health Care Center. Born June 20, 1937 in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late Marion V. Shockley and Hallie Oneida Sutphin Shockley.

One brother, Melvin Shockley and one sister, Ramona Shockley also preceded her in death. She was retired from the former Dublin Garment Co.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2:00 PM, December 30, 2015 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Dunford officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service time.
