Suellen Smith, 63, of Pulaski, died on Thursday morning, April 21, 2011, in Pulaski Community Hospital. She worked faithfully at Pulaski Community Hospital until she retired after years of service. She was an active member of Community Christian Church, Newbern, Va. She loved living life to the fullest and made friends wherever she went. Suellen was born in Culpepper, Va., on May 3, 1947. She is preceded in death by parents William T. Smith Jr. and Rachel Durman Smith; both of Pulaski. She is survived by numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Community Christian Church, Newbern, Va., from 5 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. Dr. C.R. Connor and Ernie Depew will officiate. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011, at Thornspring Cemetery.
