Smith Sr., Robert David

Robert David Smith Sr., 70, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, of heart failure.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Troise-Smith; his children, Robert, Scott, Jennifer and Tony Troise; his four grandchildren, Rochelle, Jacqueline, Stephanie, and Felix Jerald; and great-grandchild, Cameron.

Robert was employed at Moog of Blacksburg, and as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service Vehicle Maintenance of New York. He enjoyed his fellow coworkers at Moog, who became part of an extended family.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at Horne Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until time for the funeral service. The Rev. Todd Millsaps will be officiating the service.
