Smith, Rachel Durmon

Rachel Durmon Smith, 83, of Pulaski, Va., died on Monday, December 28, 2009, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late David W. Durmon and Carrie Crawford Durmon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Smith Jr.

Surviving is her daughter, Suellen Smith, of Pulaski, Va.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Dr. C.R. Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

The family wishes memorials be made to the Family Worship Center First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Memorial Drive, Pulaski, Va.
