Smith, Mamie Clyde

Mamie Clyde Smith, 87, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was a firm believer in God and that was reflected in how she lived her life and how she interacted with people. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and we miss her.

Mamie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Eugene B. Smith; and grandson, Devin Bailey. She is survived by her sons, Stoney Smith (Debbie), Darrell Smith, John Smith (Shara); daughters, Linda Sowers (Donnie), Connie Bailey (Steve), Sarah Jones (Jimmy), Missy Sutphin (Mike); grandchildren, Eric Sowers, Crystal Gilbert, Wesley Jones, Landon Jones, Austin Smith, and Hunter Smith; as well as great-grandchildren, Tristan Smith, Jax Smith, and Silas Jones.

In keeping with Mamie’s wishes, there will be no services.
