Smith, Lettie Mae

Lettie Mae Smith, 90, of Pulaski, died early Wednesday morning, August 22, 2007 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Jordan Smith, Sr., with whom she was active in the family business of A.J. Smith and Son Furniture Store on Jefferson Avenue in Pulaski.

She is survived by one son, A.J. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Pat, of Pulaski; one daughter, Peggy Jane Smith-Hite and her husband, Ralph, of Stephens City, Va. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with Sam McCracken and Bobby Sylvia officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime Friday, August 24, 2007 after 4 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
