Smith, John Wesley

John Wesley Smith, age 75, of Riner went to be with his Lord, Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his home. He was born in Odd, WVa. on February 1, 1945 to the late Robert Lee and Della Francis Wilson Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Earline Smith, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Palmer and husband, Kevin, sons and daughters-in-law, John Jr. and wife, Michelle, Lee Smith and Jennifer, Teddy Smith and wife, Vanessa, grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Chelsey Wooten, Casey Smith, Shay Rucker, Kayla Palmer, Caleb Palmer, Addy Palmer, Jimmy Mundy, Michelle Strong, eight great-grandchildren, brothers, Sammy Smith, Roger Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 6:30 pm in the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church with the Pastor Roger Smith and Pastor Wes Connor officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 pm Thursday evening at the Shawsville Congregational Church prior to the service. Interment will be on Friday, 11:00 am at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
