Smith, Harold Miller

Harold Miller Smith, 70, of Christiansburg, departed this life for his eternal home on October 5, 2011, at Pulaski Health & Rehab Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lessie Harris Smith and Harvey Smith.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Norma Smith Bobbitt, and Becky Smith; brother-in-law, Frank Bobbitt; nephew Michael Bobbitt; and several cousins.

He was a graduate of Auburn High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. He spent a number of years as a local food salesman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2011, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jonathan Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
