Smith, Grace Alice

Grace Alice Smith, 96, died Monday, February 12, 2007, at Skyline Manor in Floyd, Va. She was the widow of George D. Smith.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sharon Stone. Surviving are two children, Marie Bedsaul (Rudy) of Salem and Jackie Underwood (Raymond) of Floyd. Four grandchildren survive: Kathy Mullins of Carrsville, Joann Bedsaul of Roanoke, Michael Underwood of Christiansburg, and April Ketterer of Woolwine.

She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, having served as a Sunday school teacher and President of the Women’s Missionary Union. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1923 East Main Street, Salem, Va. 24153. Arrangements are in the care of Lotz Salem Chapel.
