Smith, Dolores “Dolly” Bevins

Dolores “Dolly” Bevins Smith, 84, of McCoy, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 29, 1929 to the late Anthony and Elizabeth Heschl. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Alonzo (Bee) Bevins.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Smith; her children, Linda Bevins (Kimmell), Alonzo Bevins (Sandy), Debbie Jestes (Rodney), Maude Barker (Joe), Maryann LaRue (Will), ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Cowboy Church, 135 Catnip Lane, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carl Jones for the continuing operation of the Cowboy Church, 135 Catnip Lane, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
