Smith, Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Ann Smith, 65, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Margaret Hawks Hall; husband, Harvey Frayne Smith; daughter, Carol Virginia Smith; and 2 brothers, Michael Allen Hall and Jerry Grant Hall.

She is survived by her dad, Charlie B. Hall, Jr.; children, Crystal Dawn Rouse (Ronald) and Natalie Ann Lytton (Marvin); grandchildren, Tamara, Nicholas, Dominique, Rebecca, Garrison, Benjamin, Abraham, Scott, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler, Alyssa, Austin, Kai, Hinata, and Joscelyn; and her Baby, her parrot bird that she had for over 20 years.

Carolyn was a homemaker and author of poetry and short stories. The family requests memorials be made in honor of Carolyn to the Christiansburg Volunteer Rescue Squad, 10 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073.

There will be a graveside service conducted by the family at a later date.
