Smith, Beatrice Virginia Wirt

Beatrice Wirt Smith, 84, of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Mountain Top Mission Church, Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Wirt and Ocie May Spradlin.

She is survived by her brother, James Wirt and his wife, Ella; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Virgil McHone and Pastor Ron Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at the Spradlin Family Cemetery.
