Slusher, Zula Mae

Zula Mae Slusher, age 79 of Pulaski passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Lewis Gale Hospital,-Pulaski. Born October 3, 1934 in Floyd, she is the daughter of the late Wyatt C. Slusher and Grace Burgess Slusher. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Slusher and Donald Slusher.

She was a long time active member of the First Church of the Brethren in Pulaski having served on the Board and sang in the choir.

Bostick- Elizabethton, TN, Son- Jack Slusher, Jr.- Dublin, Granddaughter- Karen R. Smith- Pulaski, Great Granddaughter- Khloe Smith, Brother- Marvin Slusher & wife, Roberteen Slusher- Dearborn, MI., Sister- Rheba Shelor- Collinsville, Sisters-in-law- Lois B.Slusher-Floyd, Iletta Slusher- Floyd, Special Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m., November 7, 2013 at the First Church of the Brethren, Pulaski with Rev. Frank Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., November 6, 2013 at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
