Slusher, Haddie Lauren

Haddie Lauren Slusher, of Riner, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born just 15 days earlier on March 22, 2012. Brave and feisty Haddie gave us a lifetime of love in her short time on earth. She was the daughter of Tiffany and Chris Slusher, of Riner. She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Brad and Cheryl Smith, of Sinks Grove, W. Va.; uncle Kellen Smith, of Charlottesville; uncle and aunt, Chris and Aracoma Smith, of Fredericksburg; and cousins Kendal and Byram. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Dusty and Pat Slusher, of Salem; uncle and aunt Mike and Carlin Slusher, of Raleigh, N.C.; and cousin Vance Slusher. She is also survived by her paternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Kathryn Vance, of Princeton, W. Va.; and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Christiansburg, followed by a celebration of Haddie’s life at the Slushers’ home, located at 280 Smith Creek Road, Riner, VA.
