Slonka III, Joseph Thomas

Joseph Thomas Slomka III, 26, of Dublin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 8, 2008 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harvey Randall Bane. He was a member of the Radford Worship Center. Survivors include his mother and fiance, Lisa B. Slomka and “Buck” Ratliff, of Dublin; father and wife, Joseph Thomas Jr. and Pamela Slomka, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Barbara Ann Bane, of Radford; and paternal grandparents, Joseph Thomas and Lydia E. Slomka, of Greensboro, N.C.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2008, at the Radford Worship Center in Radford with Pastor Mike Laster and Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
