Slaughter, Oakley Elvert

Oakley Elvert Slaughter, 83 of Indian Valley, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He is survived by sons, Cody Slaughter, David Slaughter, Steve Battistella; daughters, Pam George, Cathy Heiser; six grandchildren; brothers, Cullen Higgs and Butch Higgs. Mothers of his children, Betty Slaughter, and Terry Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Floyd with Mr. Bill Fenwick officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Slaughter Family Cemetery.
