Sjogren, Amenta Robeson

Amenta Robeson Sjogren of Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, Va., passed away peacefully at home at the age of 100.

She grew up in Blacksburg, Va., married childhood sweetheart Robert Sjogren, and taught school in Arlington, Va.

She is survived by three children, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her brother, Andrew Robeson (Jean) of Blacksburg, Va.

She loved nature, gardening, competitive bridge and her family. Due to COVID restrictions, a “Celebration of Life” will be held privately, with interment taking place in Blacksburg, Va.
