On Monday, December 28, 2015, Clarence (Yogi) Marvin Sink, 72, of Dublin, Va. passed away in his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Marvin and Eliza Sink.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Sink, who cared for him faithfully through all of his illnesses. Also surviving are a son, Timothy Sink of Dublin and a daughter, Becky and Dwayne Martin of Riner. Clarence’s son-in-law, Dwayne, was also his pastor and they had formed a very special relationship. Clarence also had two grandsons of whom he was very proud: Josh Martin (& Amber), and Jonathan Martin. Extended family includes 3 sisters: Dorothy & George Evans of Dublin, Mary Bruce of Pulaski, and Myrtle Richardson of Edgewater, FL. Also a brother: John & Terrie Sink of Dublin. Clarence had many nieces and nephews and had a special relationship with each one.

Clarence was employed for 21 years with Burlington Industries in Dublin and often talked fondly of his coworkers from there. He also worked for Carolina Tank until he became disabled. Clarence was a friendly man who cared about everyone. He loved God and he loved his family. He was a member of Bible Holiness Church in Christiansburg, Va. and considered his church friends as part of his family. He attended church many times when he absolutely did not feel like it because he loved being there. The family would like to take this time to thank Carillon Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate help during a difficult time! Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Bible Holiness Church with the Pastor Dwayne Martin and Pastor Merrill Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Staffordsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Friday evening at the Bible Holiness Church, Christiansburg.
