Simpson, Audrey Kemp

Audrey Kemp Simpson, 77, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Kermit and Bertie Bolt Kemp; and her husband, Ellis Wayne Simpson.

Audrey was a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church and the Pilot Club where she held several different offices.

Surviving are her daughter, Trina I. Simpson, of Roanoke; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and her devoted granddogs, Prana, Miley, and Gypsy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donors choice.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd, Va., by Pastor Ronnie Morris. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, 540-366-0707.
