Victor Colon Simpkins, 90 of Indian Valley, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colon and Nannie Simpkins; brother, Royster Simpkins.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vasie Sutphin Simpkins; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Simpkins, Tommy Simpkins (Stephanie); daughter and son-in-law, Trish Simpkins Williams (Kelly); grandchildren, Huey Simpkins, Suzetta Simpkins, Jenny Thompson & Randy, Bree Simpkins, Tyler Shane Parnell, Destiny Parnell, Kellie Albert &Timmy, Nicci Akers & Chris, Marina Williams, Joshua Young, Corey Young; great-grandchildren, Brooks Hash, Kara Hagg, Gracie Thompson, Levi Thompson, Colton Parnell, Brynliegh Tate; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney Simpkins (Janet), Demi Simpkins (Etta Mae); sister, Sarah Akers; sister-in-law, Lassie Hylton.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Maberry Funeral Home chapel with Preacher Bob Akers officiating. The interment will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. Military rites will be held by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post #1115. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at Maberry Funeral Home.
