Simpkins, Ricky Dale

Ricky Dale Simpkins, 47, of Riner, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007, in a Richmond Hospital.

The son of the late Milton Gray Simpkins Sr. and Mildred Harmon Hess, he is survived by twin daughters, Carrie Gray Simpkins and April Rae Simpkins, both of Riner; a son, Craig Olsen Simpkins, Pilot; a sister, Linda Simpkins Kast, Christiansburg; brothers, Milton Gray Simpkins Jr., Pilot, and Bentley Stewart Simpkins, Radford; friend and mother of the children, Denise Hackney, Pilot.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday evening, December 30, 2007, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
