Simpkins, Reba Harrell

Reba Harrell Simpkins, 81, of Radford, Va., passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010. She was a member of Cornersview Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Lee Ransom Simpkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Suzanne Simpkins, of Rural Hall, N.C., and Donnie and Marsha Simpkins, of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita Simpkins Dobbins and Carl Hamblin, of Christiansburg; three brothers, Robert Harrell, of High Point, N.C., and Clinton Harrell and Everette Harrell, both of Pulaski; two sisters, Faye Hubbard, of Radford, and Wanda Washington, of Wilmington, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Highland Ridge Nursing and Rehab for their loving care of Reba and their continued care of Lee.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
