Simpkins, April Dawn

April Dawn Simpkins passed away at her home in Radford, VA on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the age of 39. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Walter (Dub) Dean.

Those surviving to honor her memory include her parents, Martha and Ronnie Young of Christiansburg, VA; a daughter, Ashton Dean of Radford, VA; a sister, Jami Ford (Michael) of Woodbridge, VA; a brother, Ryan Young (Becca) of Portsmouth, VA; grandmother, Thelma Dean of Christiansburg, VA; an aunt, Linda Adkins-White (Jim) of Millboro, VA; and loving nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.

A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit the family on Thursday from 1-3pm at 2430 Peppers Ferry Rd. Christiansburg, VA.
