David Simmons, 56, of Reidsville, NC passed away on June 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Simmons; grandparents, Brooks & Evelyn Davis and Howard & Gussy Simmons; parents, Woody Conrad and Betty Fayne Varndell; and brother, Randy Scott.

David is survived by his wife, Jamie Camile Simmons; son, Sheldon Douglas Simmons and girlfriend, Shannon; Samantha Fayne Hebert and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Cole Simmons, Jacob Ryan, Elizabeth Lemons, Issabella Lineberry, Camden Allen, Emmett Hebert, Kaleb Hebert, Gage Simmons, Serenity Simmons, Kayelyn Simmons; sisters, Wanda Deel and Terri Cooper and husband, Butch; stepfather, Richard Varndell; sister-in-law, Janet Scott and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8 from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family encourages everyone to dress casual.
