Sifford, Evelyn F.

Evelyn F. Sifford, 84, of Narrows, Va., passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, Va., Born May 2, 1934 in Giles county, Va., she was a daughter of the late James E. and Mabel Midkiff Frazier.

She was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan D. Sifford; two brothers, Arnold and Marvin Frazier; one son-in-law, George Sanders. She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Sanders of Christiansburg, Va., Terri and husband Allen Crawford of Lindside, W.Va.; three sisters, Betty and husband the Rev. Joe Sifford on Morristown, Tenn., Margaret and husband Franklin Cawley of Pembroke, Va., and Sue and husband Fred Jones of Narrows, Va.; One brother, Frankie Frazier and wife Kitty of Pearisburg, Va., three grandchildren, Jason Sanders, Wes Crawford and Katrina Alexandria and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek, Va., with the Rev. Shawn Wilburn officiating.
