Pauline Bowles Shumate, 79, of Blacksburg, Va. died, Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening, June 24, 2007 at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, and private funeral services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Macular Degeneration Foundation or a charity of your choice.
