Arthur Tilden (Ott) Shouse, 78, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Mr. Shouse served his country in the United States Army, taking part in the Korea Conflict, and was employed for 40+ years as a delivery driver for C.J. & S. Fuel Supply known to many as “Ott.” Mr. Shouse enjoyed many sports on T.V. such as NASCAR and football.

He was the son to the late James Walter and Susan Alice Shouse. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Enola Shoemaker, Gracie Rutherford, Mildred Ward and Bertha Shouse; and brothers, Dan Shouse, Aubrey Shouse and Charlie Shouse.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine S. Shouse; sons, Steven (Steve) Dale Shouse, Terry Alan Shouse and Todd Arthur Shouse, all of Christiansburg. He is also survived by two grandsons, Matthew Todd Galliaher of Rocky Mount and Justin Anthony Shouse of Christiansburg; two sisters, Alberta Bentley of Pulaski and Virginia Myrtle Nuckols of Dublin; one brother, Walter E. Shouse of Dublin also survives.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at The Horne Funeral Home from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neal Turner and the Rev. Eugene Flinchum officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va.
