Shockley, Steve Douglas

Steve Douglas Shockley, 58, of Pulaski, entered into eternal peace with his Lord on May 1, 2012, at Pulaski Community Hospital. Steve enjoyed blessing his family with his beautiful music and he enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Opel Shockley, his daughters, Gerry and Nicky Shockley, and his sister Linda Eaton. Steve left behind his wife of 34 years, Olivia Bell Horton Shockley; his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Randy Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Ashley Shockley; son, Steven Shockley; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Jamaal Ojomo; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Junior Tippett; sister, Helen Self, 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five beloved pets; and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Church of God of Prophecy, Pulaski. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made to the McCoy Funeral Home to help the family with expenses. We love and miss you greatly.
