Shirley, Philip Scott

Philip Scott Shirley, 34, of Palmetto, Fla., born January 1, 1979, in Montgomery County, passed away February 21, 2013. Philip was a graduate of University of South Florida, and received his MBA from the University of Florida.

He is survived by two daughters, Avery Rose (4) and Madison Taylor (6); one brother, Justin Michael Shirley, of Sarasota, Fla.; mother and father, Mary Turner and Philip Gerald Shirley, of Palmetto, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Roy and Betty Turner, of Narrows; paternal grandmother, Mildred Shirley Tolliver; and dozens of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Suncoast Baptist Church, 1816 10th Street, West Palmetto, Fla., with Pastor Joel Tillis officiating.
