Shifflette, Pauline W.

Pauline Weeks Shifflette, 90, formerly of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008.

The daughter of the late Granville D. and Maude D. Weeks, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nat S. Shifflette. She is survived by her children, Stephen and Sara; and three grandchildren.

She was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church and spent the majority of her life in Christiansburg. She served as a Gray Lady with the American Red Cross during World War II. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Main Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Main Street Baptist Church conducted by Dr. A. Timothy Hight with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
