Sherman, Nannie Hogan

Nannie Hogan Sherman, 90, of Christiansburg, Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 19, 2015.She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Hogan; her mother, Thaxton Hunt Hogan; and her husband, William Bryant Sherman.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters , Estelle Williamson and Thelma Arrington.She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Edgar) Boggs and Debbie Sherman-Lee; grandchildren, Krystal (Robert) Fuller, Kaaren Morton, Michael Lee, Jr. and Maurice Lee; and great-grandchildren, Jannah Morton, Christopher Fuller, Zoey Lee, Mary Lee and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Delores Keys, who came almost everyday to be with her sister; sister-in-law, Lillian Jones and brother-in-law, Grant Leon (Ernestine) Sherman.The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.Memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
