Sheppard, Wayne Alexander

Wayne Alexander Sheppard, 53, of Williamsburg, Va., and formerly of Blacksburg, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Michele Sheppard; grandson, Alex Maccubbin, all of Williamsburg, Va.; parents, Raymond and Claramont Sheppard, of Christiansburg, Va.; brothers, Darrell Sheppard, of Suffolk, Va., and Ray Sheppard, of Christiansburg; sisters, Judy Boykin, of Kinley, N.C., Cheryl Shedd, of Aransas Pass, Texas, and Debbie Adams, of Blacksburg, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheppard Family Cemetery Prices Fork. The family will receive friends one hour before the service time.
