Sheppard, Steven Rylee

Steven Rylee Sheppard, of Elliston, 3 1/2 month old son of Carrington Linkous and Steven Sheppard died Saturday, May 28, 2011. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ryley Irdinia Sheppard. He is survived by his parents; sister, Merissa Dawn Stewart and brother, Connor Dawson Stewart; maternal grandparents, Lisa M. Linkous and Arlie Thomas, Dale Linkous and Debbie Smith; paternal grandparents, Oscar Sheppard and Katrina Moffitt; maternal great-grandparents, Sarah Martin and Reba Linkous; paternal greatgrandparents, Shirley Sheppard and Elizabeth Capers. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Logan Linkous and Bobby Maiden III, Summer Smith and Jessica Sheppard; cousins, Koty Viars, Mackenzie Maiden, Andrew Smith, Nicholas Lilly, Maliki and Braelin Sheppard. Many great aunts; uncles; and many other family members also survive. “We will always love and miss you mommy’s Mr. Perfect.” The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Ingo officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
