Sheppard, Elizabeth Mae

3/31/1926 ~ 11/24/2010 Elizabeth Mae Sheppard, 84, of Radford, Va., passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. and Byrdie Bond Sheppard. She is survived by many cousins, community and church friends; and extended family and neighbors, Charlie and Evangeline Taylor and their children. A special thanks to everyone who helped with Elizabeth’s care over the years. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home, with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Stan Thompson and the Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Akers Family Cemetery. The Sheppard family is being served by Horne Funeral Home and Crematory.
