Sheppard, Claramont Linkous

Claramont Linkous Sheppard, 88, of Christiansburg, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Heritage Hall. She was born in Montgomery county on March 17, 1927 to the late Kurg Harman and Willie Mae Sheppard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, sons, Wayne and Darrell.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Mary Sheppard; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Walt Boykin, Cheryl and Charles Shedd; and Debbie and James Martin; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; great -great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews; and a special family friend, Gloria Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 30,2015 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jube Burk officiating. Internment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
