Shepherd, Cora Sue Vaughan

Cora Sue Vaughan Shepherd, 73, of Willis, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. She is predeceased by son, Carl E. Shepherd Jr.; and sisters, Gwendlyn A.Vaughan, Jama L. Schaffer, Peggy A. Burke, and Sandra K. Blinko. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl E. Shepherd Sr.; son, Neal I. Shepherd; daughter, Tamathy L. Linkous (Lloyd); four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, John P. Vaughan; sister, Freida Matthews; and brothers-in-law Bill Burke and Jeff Blinko. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Maberry Funeral Home officiated by Donna Castellow. Interment to follow at the VaughnHylton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday August 28, 2011.
