Shelton, Roy Lee

Roy Lee Shelton, 77 of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, U.G. and Ruby Shelton; brothers, Grover Shelton, Ray Shelton, Harold Shelton; sister, Annie Dickerson. He is survived by his wife, Jane Shelton; sons, Ronnie Dean Shelton, Gilbert Lee Shelton, James Roy Shelton; daughter, Peggy Jean Shelton and David Weddle; grandchildren, Kayla Desiray Shelton, Bradley Hatcher, Jessica B. Wilkin; great-granddaughter, Braylee Mattingley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dallas and Nelva Shelton, Herbert Junior and Maggie Shelton; sister, Faye Bolt; sister-in-law, Annetta and Kenneth Moles; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ronnie Sutphin officiating. Interment to follow in the Alderman Cemetery.
