Shelton, Darrell A.

Darrell A. Shelton age 59 of Peterstown, formerly of Orange County, VA, passed away Thursday November 16, 2017 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. Born September 7, 1958 at Danville, VA he is the son of Ruth Pentecost Shelton of Peterstown and the late Fletcher Hall Shelton. Darrell was self- employed as a landscaper. He loved to fish, restore vintage cars and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his mother Darrell is survived by two brothers; Elton F. Shelton and wife Ruth of Pulaski, VA and Sanford Shelton and wife Rhonda of Ballard, WV; one nephew, Robert Shelton, and one niece Terri Clark; one great niece Katie Shelton; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday November 19, 2017 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, WV., with Pastor Doug Duncan and Rev. Bob Burgess officiating. Burial will follow with graveside services and committal at 4:00 PM at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Draper, VA.
