Shelton, Dallas M.

Dallas M. Shelton went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born March 24, 1926 .He served in World War II and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Floyd.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby & Ulysses Shelton; grandsons, Michael Shelton and Jason Hayes; sister, Annie Dickerson; brothers, Grover Shelton, Ray Shelton, Roy Lee Shelton and Harold Shelton.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nelva F. Shelton; daughter, Diane Borzotra (Michael); sons, Garrett Shelton (Polly), David Shelton (Debbie); Sister, Faye Bolt; brother, Herbert Junior Shelton; granddaughter, Kristen Gladden (Tommy); grandsons, Joseph Shelton, Christopher Shelton, Shawn Borzotra; great-granddaughters, Brianna Shelton, Nevaeh Gladden; great-grandsons, Blake Shelton, Colby Shelton, Aidan Borzotra, Ryan Borzotra; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Agee officiating. The Interment will follow at Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
