Brendan Hall Shelton, 2, of Pulaski, Va., was carried by the Angels to Heaven along with his grandmother, Jeannie Mann Shelton, May 2, 2006.

He was born in Pulaski on August 17, 2003 and was the son of Robert and Sonya Shelton, Pulaski. Brendan was a very happy and lovable child who brightened the lives of all who knew him. He will be missed, but he is happy with Jesus and awaits the time when his family chain will be linked together once again.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Shelton; and his grandfather, William Franklin Steffey. Surviving are parents, Robert and Sonya Shelton, Pulaski; sister, Katie Elizabeth Shelton, Pulaski; grandmother, Linda Brock Steffey, Pulaski; grandfather, Sanford Shelton, Dublin; aunts and uncles, Sarah and Allen Tuggle and cousins, Austin and Seth, Susan and Eric Wirt and cousins, Megan and Ben, Terri and Paul Clark; great-grandparents, Rev. Rufus A. and Irene Brock, Lorena and Arnold Garlic, Bobby and Debbie Mann, Ruth Shelton; several great-aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly; special pet, Buddy.

Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
