Shelor, Lawrence Ray

Lawrence Ray Shelor, 76, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009.

He is survived by Wife, Velvie Shelor; Son, Wayne Shelor and spouse Vikki Shelor, and children, Becca, Jacob, and Joshua Shelor; Daughter, Malinda Shelor- Rogers and spouse Ben Rogers, and children, Kimberly Bright, Amanda Stephens, and Marcus Yancey; Step Daughters: Nancy Machincia and spouse John, and children, Jessica Heckman and Brad Machincia; Cathy Wilson and spouse Gary Wilson, and children, Vanessa Richardson and Gary Wilson; Daughter-in-law, Wanda Blevins and Children, David Blevins and Jody Blevins; Brothers: John Shelor and spouse Thelma and James Shelor and spouse Marie; and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in the Willis Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home.
