Georgia Albert Shelburne, 87, of Radford, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She was a member of the Snowville Christian Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and former president of the Christian Womens Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Lee and Eula Lee Linkous Albert; husband, John Wesley Shelburne; two sons, Mitchell and LeRoy Shelburne; and by a sister and two brothers.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Tommy Estes of Radford, Phyllis and Ron Barker of Richmond, two daughters-in-law, Dayna Shelburne, Asheville, N.C., Annelle Shelburne Crystal Springs, Miss.; sister, Eola N. Moore of Radford; eight grandchildren and spouses, Wendy and Dave Evans, April and Brad Prickett, January and Quint Reeves, Thomas W. Estes III, Dean and Trude Barker, Joy and Dale King, John Kelly Shelburne and Amanda Shelburne; eight greatgrandchildren, Brittany, Christopher, Lyman Thomas, John Wesley, Jordan, Will, Cameron and Cole.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Snowville Christian Church with the Rev. Jonathan Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Shelburne Cemetery in Pulaski County. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Snowville Christian Church, 5436 Lead Mine Road, Hiwassee, Va. 24347.
