Shawver, Sue Kidd

Sue Kidd Shawver, 72, of Blacksburg, formerly of Clearfork, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at a Blacksburg hospital. She was born August 29, 1939, in Tazewell, and was a daughter of the late Alva and Luella Neel Kidd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Preston Shawver; and one infant sister. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa L. Ramey and husband, David, of Hardy; one sister; three brothers; and special friends and caregivers. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Conley officiating. Burial will be private.
