Michael Gene Shaver, 52, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Shaver Sr.; and his stepfather, Sam Terry; his paternal grandparents, Ellett and Gracie Shaver; his maternal grandparents, Ellett and Elizabeth Alls. He is survived by his mother, Betty S. Terry; his brother, William Franklin Shaver Jr.; special friend, Edwin Rodriguez; special aunt, Nancy White. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Virgil McHone officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family wll receive friends Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
