Shaver, Lottie Mildred

Lottie Mildred Shaver, 66, of Levitt Drive in Pearisburg, died Monday evening, January 16, 2006 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg after a long illness. Born in Giles County on February 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Laura Hutchison Shaver.

Lottie was a graduate of Pembroke High School and was retired from the Celanese Celco Plant at Narrows after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde, Robert Lee, James Raymond, and James Ballard Shaver. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Ricky Lucas of Pearisburg; a grandson, Richard Allen Lucas of Pearisburg; four brothers, Harold Shaver of Blacksburg, Bobby Gene Shaver of Christiansburg, Lee Shaver of Elliston, Ronald Shaver of Roanoke; and two sisters, Edith Williams of Pearisburg and Betty Mahaffey of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in the Fillinger Cemetery near Pembroke.
