Shanklin, Gregory Parker

Gregory Parker Shanklin, 49, of Hiwassee, VA, formerly of Radford, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Shanklin & Peggy Shanklin Hubble. He is survived by two sisters, Katie Mitchell of Salem, VA, and Tina Shanklin of Hampstead, NC; two nieces; four nephews; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2012, from 12-2 pm at Horne Funeral Home and the memorial service will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel, with Rev. Justin Quesenberry officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help offset the funeral expenses in care of Horne Funeral Service.
