Seymour, David E.
Pastor David E. Seymour, 62, of Lower Paxton Township, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. He was born on March 12, 1947, in Fitchburg, Mass., to the late Albert and Persis (Glidden) Seymour. A United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a Pastor with and member of Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church. Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. (Ratcliffe) Seymour; a son, Matthew R. Seymour, of Harrisburg, Pa.; a daughter, Ashley A. Felix and husband, Richie, of Watsontown, Pa.; his twin brother, Dan Seymour and wife, Sue, of South Lancaster, Mass.; sisters, Connie Seymour, of Worcester, Mass., Beverly Lance, of Roanoke, Va., and Norma Niemi and husband, Paul, of Fitzwilliam, N.H.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Dorothy Ratcliffe, of Pilot, Va.; a granddaughter, Peyton Felix; and two stepgrandsons, Billy and Jacob Felix. Memorial contributions in Pastor David’s honor may be made to Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 424 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, Pa. 17109. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2009, from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va.
