Sessums, Rhonda Jo

Rhonda Jo Sessums, 34, of Elliston, Va. passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at her home following a short illness.

She was born at Ronceverte, W.Va. on August 8, 1973, a daughter of Ronnie J. and Sandy Kessinger Bostic of Pilot, Va. Mrs. Sessums was a homemaker and she was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Edgar Hereford Bostic. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Carroll Ray Sessums of Elliston, Va.; son, Michael Sessums of Elliston, Va.; a brother, James (Bubby) Bostic of Pilot, Va.; paternal grandmother, Betty A. Vance of Union; maternal grandfather, Charlie Kessinger of Union; maternal grandmother, Doris Kessinger and her companion, Charles Eggleston of Alderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Bob Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Ballard Cemetery near Union. Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2007. Groves Funeral Home in Union is in charge of the arrangements.
